Walsh Mushrooms will launch English-grown organic mushrooms from its Suffolk production site in October 2026, strengthening its organic supply for retail and foodservice customers. The expansion will help meet growing demand from the company’s retail and foodservice customers while further strengthening its British organic mushroom supply. The first organic compost will be filled on the 17th of September, with mushroom production scheduled to come on stream from 5th of October. By bringing organic mushroom growing in-house, Walsh Mushrooms will have full control of production, supporting consistent quality and dependable availability for customers. The move will also provide a strong platform for continued growth, enabling the company to expand organic sales and respond more effectively to opportunities across the market. English-grown organic mushrooms from Walsh Mushrooms will be available from October 2026.
