The Walsh Mushrooms Anti-Slavery and Human trafficking statement Walsh Mushrooms operates across the UK and Ireland. Our mushrooms are sourced from national and international suppliers. We have introduced several measures to help aid us in ensuring that we meet best practise on all issues with respect to direct and indirect labour, in respect of the following legislation within the Anti-Slavery Act Oct 2015:- covering matters like employment, wages, health and safety, environment and human trafficking. We undertake all reasonable and practical steps, including site inspections and third party audits of our supply base and labour provider, to ensure that our standards are being implemented throughout the business and that legislation is complied with. Any instances of non-compliance found will have remedial action taken. We will only trade with those who fully comply with this policy or those who are taking verifiable steps towards compliance. This statement has been approved by our Board of Directors, who will review and update it as necessary on an annual basis.
