Walsh Mushrooms Group stands with the Ukraine.
We employ Ukrainian nationals at our site in Suffolk and many people from neighbouring countries who support the Ukraine. We will provide whatever support we can to our staff who have families and friends caught up in the war. We will donate £10,000 to the Red Cross and contribute to the support groups that are set up in all the communities that we are involved in. We are working with a group in Evesham who are collecting clothes and supplies and we have volunteered to arrange delivery of these supplies to Poland/Ukraine. Our management and staff at our production site in Golden are collecting donations for the Ukrainian Donation Appeal in Tipperary who plan to send 3 articulated lorries to the Ukraine this weekend.
This crisis is affecting not only the people living in the Ukraine but their families and friends who live in our communities here and are watching what is happening in their home countries in horror.
